Double Door IR Sensor for LED Drivers – Hands-Free LED Control

This double door IR sensor allows automatic control of LED strips when opening and closing cabinet doors. Ideal for double-door wardrobes, cabinets, and walk-in dressing rooms, it offers a convenient, energy-efficient solution with a sleek, modern design.

This sensor supports 12V or 24V operation, with a maximum output of 60W at 12V and 100W at 24V. It is compatible with any 24V non-dimmable LED driver. While designed for plug-and-play use with cabinet LED drivers, it can also be used with standard non-dimmable LED drivers. The total LED load must not exceed the sensor’s maximum power rating.

How to Connect the Sensor

1. Connecting to a Cabinet LED Driver:

The sensor input plug connects directly to one of the cabinet LED driver's multiple output ports.

2. Connecting to a Standard Non-Dimmable LED Driver:

The sensor input plug must be cut, and the wires must be connected manually to the output terminals of the LED driver. Alternatively, instead of cutting, you can use a plug adapter such as the HL-CB1M 1m Plug & Wire Set for a quick and clean connection.

How to Connect the Sensor to the LED Strip

The sensor output has a pre-installed plug, but LED strips do not connect directly to it. To complete the connection:

  • Use a plug adapter such as the HL-CB1M 1m Plug & Wire Set to avoid cutting wires.
  • Alternatively, cut the plug and connect the wires manually.

Installation Notes

This sensor offers a plug-and-play installation with cabinet LED drivers and a manual or plug-adapter option for standard LED drivers. It comes with a 2m wire, allowing flexibility in installation. The built-in detection system instantly adjusts brightness based on door movement, turning off specific outputs when doors are closed for energy-efficient operation.
