This DMX512 & RDM LED decoder offers robust 4-channel constant voltage control, with each channel delivering up to 8A and supporting input voltages from 12V to 36V DC. Designed for professional lighting environments, the D4-P supports the latest DMX512 and RDM protocols, ensuring seamless integration into dynamic lighting systems. It features a digital display for intuitive configuration.
Supporting PWM frequencies from 250Hz to 16,000Hz, the D4-P ensures smooth, flicker-free dimming, ideal for video and film production. It also includes a self-test mode, allowing users to test each channel individually without the need for a DMX connection, ensuring each channel is functioning properly during installation or troubleshooting. The RDM bi-directional communication further simplifies system configuration, enabling DMX address setup directly from the DMX master console.
It’s important to note that while the controller supports 8A per channel, the maximum total current is 32.5A. To avoid overheating, it is recommended to leave around 20% headroom and ensure proper ventilation when running at high capacity.
With overheat, overload, and short-circuit protection that automatically recovers, the D4-P ensures reliable performance in demanding environments.
