The D4-E DMX512 & RDM LED decoder is crafted for professional lighting control, offering 4 output channels with a capacity of 8A per channel. This model utilises RJ45 Ethernet ports for DMX input and output, ensuring high-speed and reliable data transmission in larger lighting systems. The input voltage ranges from 12V to 36V DC, providing flexibility for various lighting applications, including architectural and stage lighting.
The D4-E features an adjustable PWM frequency from 250Hz to 16,000Hz, delivering smooth, flicker-free lighting, making it ideal for environments requiring high precision, such as film production. Its self-test functionality allows you to check the operation of each channel without needing a DMX signal, helping with installation and diagnostics.
Using the RDM protocol, the D4-E enables easy, remote configuration and status monitoring of DMX addresses directly from the lighting console. Although each channel can handle up to 8A, the total current should not exceed 32.5A, and it’s recommended to leave a 20% buffer for safe operation at higher loads to avoid overheating.
The decoder comes with built-in protection against overheating, overloading, and short circuits, ensuring the system remains safe and functional even in demanding conditions.
