Important Note:
This profile is designed to achieve an IP67/68 waterproof rating only when properly sealed using a silicone adhesive/sealant along the edges of the diffuser cover and end caps. If you drill the profile (e.g., for cable entry or voltage injection to prevent voltage drop in long runs), ensure proper isolation and sealing to avoid water ingress. For installations using IP68 LED strips and connectors, remember that the IP68 rating is valid only if the connections are correctly sealed with specialised silicone sealant to maintain waterproof integrity. Please note that flooding, heavy rain, or water pooling in gardens and similar installations can cause damage, even when using waterproof strips. Regular maintenance is essential to ensure long-term performance and to inspect for any compromised seals.
